Edmonton based singer, actress and producer Cara Albo has signed with Dynasty Records Canada for worldwide distribution to over 250 digital music retail sites around the world including iTunes, Puretracks, Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, Bell and Rogers.  Her debut album Embrace Me will be available at all Canadian HMV & CD Plus stores as well as over 800 retail outlets in the United States.

Ms. Albo has also signed with Stage Door Promotion & Publicity.  “Good Bye to You and I,” the infectious first single from Embrace Me, will be released to Canadian CHR and HOT AC radio on May 4, 2009.

May is an exciting month for Ms. Albo.  Along with the release of her debut album and single, Cara Albo is heading to France for the Cannes Film Festival and the Marche Du Film where Cats Cradle will be seen by the international film community.

Cara Albo is a woman who knows what she wants, and works hard for it.  Along with being a singer/songwriter, Ms. Albo is an accomplished film producer and actress.  She is Executive Producer for Skyline Motion Pictures, and has starred in the film Cats Cradle (with Juno Award Winner , and MTV Music Video Award Winner ,  Keisha Chante).  As well as playing the lead character Cat Adams, Ms. Albo was involved in the movie’s music and production.  Cats Cradle was awarded Best Soundtrack and Original Score at the LA Festival.  Ms. Albo’s second feature film, Unfinished Business, will be released later this year.

Cara Albo is a member of the prestigious Sizzling 20 under 30 club, chosen by Edmontonian’s Magazine.
